Solid built quality---this thing is heavy!
I have done 2 smokes on this smoker and loving it so far. When I assembled this all pieces went together easily and this smoker is heavy and solid. I have been smoking meats on a Weber smokey mountain for 10 years and this is a lot easier...and about $800 less than a Traeger. So far the temperature holding is +/- 5-10 degrees which is acceptable. I have smoked and roasted on this and both are very accurate. The only thing is I had to update the firmware because WiFi was spotty. Now it's good.

Amazing grill Amazing price!
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I bought this while I was out of state working for a month, when I arrived home it was on my back porch and in great shape no damage! Super simple setup was a huge plus! Over the last month I’ve smoked well over 100lbs worth of pork shoulders everyone that tried my pulled pork absolutely loved it! I’ve also smoked salmon, beef spare ribs, pork baby back ribs, cream cheese, chuck roast, potatoes and this thing has made easy work of all of it. I see lots of complaints about the Wi-Fi app but I have never had an issue with mine so maybe look into the placement of your router to the grill to ensure good signal. I’ve been able to go on a trip 2 hours from home while running/maintaining a cook through the app! My only complaint is fairly minor, sometimes when I try to change the temp it refuses to change even if I change directly on the control panel usually in this situation I pause the cook reset the temp and start the cook again only once did I have to actually turn it off and back on. For the price it is an amazing grill! I wish it came with a cover but none of the other brands do either so it’s no biggie. Can’t wait to see how this holds up as I begin my journey starting a bbq food truck and YouTube channel.

Oakford 790 Easy to assemble, the temp is a little all over the place the first cool, but the second I felt it held a lot better. 6hr for my first cook, then that night went straight to a 12 1/2 hour cook on a picnic roast . happy for the price I got it… very nice quality, has just about every option as the big name brands and maybe alittle more . Scored my 790 for $300 when it was on sale

Nearly caught my deck on fire. Hopper be smokin.
Had issues from initial setup, screws were so loose they fell out of the item they were holding. Fixed it, got it put together, seemed sturdy.
Fired it up for a burn in, quickly realized the app is nearly unusable. No temp tracking over time, graphs, or constant notifications on app.
First cook the temp needed constant monitoring, I set it at 200 smoke, it rose to 360 then down to 160. It would not hold temp at all. I emptied out the hopper, cleaned the grill out, and tried again. Didnt help.

Non Bias Review (Traeger owner)
I owned a Traeger pro 22 and loved it. Had it 3 years no issues at all.Decided Traeger was getting a little overpriced so I wanted to try another brand even though I have no complaints at all with Traeger. I ended up getting the oakford 1000 from nexgrill. I was a little skeptical since it's not a top name brand and it's a newer product. The build quality is amazing.This unit is overbuilt, but not overpriced. I would definitely go with next girl again. BUY IT! You won't be disappointed.

Great smoker for the money!
Bought this smoker for my first experience with wood pellet smoking. Nice compact size, but does have a decent amount of space for smoking foods. Quality made product! Favorite features are a digital display that connects to WiFi. You can control the temperature with the Nexgrill app on your phone! Also, has an electric start feature, and a see thru hopper window to see the level of pellets remaining. Highly recommend this fantastic grill!

my first smoker and loving it
Ive cooked on other peoples smokers and enjoyed the experience plus had previous experience turing an old charcoal grill into a smoker. But this nexgrill is a game changer. The wifi function makes life so much easier. It was raining one day and i needed to smoke some chicken for the week and loved not having to go outside constantly to checke the temperature of rhe smoker or thighs. I used the one meat probe to keep an eye on thr temp of the chicken from the comfort of my couch. Smoked pork to make pulled pork and it was so tender and good. Others loved it too. As for building it, i did it solo but could have used a hand in thr beginning. But if your handy and resourceful you can do it. Took about 45 mins. Need to buy some additional meat thermometers since it allows up to 4 to be plugged it
