AnswerHi There, A textured surface minimizes the amount of surface area the product has to stick on to. If applied to a textured surface the product will fall down and stick to itself.

Absolutely love it! We get so many compliments on how it looks. Took a few rows to get the hang of it. Once we did it was pretty easy to use. We did use a blow dryer to ensure it stuck to the wall. Put it up over a week ago and haven’t had any issue. We put it on one wall and the back of our cabinets. Very happy with this product.

Changed the look of my kitchen in a few short hours. Not too difficult to install and if a mistake was made it was easy enough to remove from the wall and reposition. Would recommend this product to anyone ready to change the look of a room. Ready to start another area of my home with the same product.
