Frayed Straps
After one weekend of use the straps began fraying to the point of not being able to be inserted into the hardware. The fraying got worse with every insert into the hardware. Eventually got so bad that I had to cut off the frayed part just to be able to use and as expected the fraying started again once cut. I definitely expected it to hold up much longer than it did.

I picked up 2 sets of 6' and 12' hoping they would be easier to use other types of straps and tie downs for my mower. They are very easy to use, infact my 6 year old son was able to remove the straps from one side of the mower when we delivered to shop for service without much instruction, he almost beat his old man getting the straps off. I use one of the 12' straps to mount the spare tire for trailer until I get a mount for it and it has held it tightly. My wife loves using them as she helped me a couple of times securing the mower. These do have lower weight limit than some other straps (working rating of 700lbs), but if you are using multiple straps that shouldn't be an issue. Well worth the ease of use, and by design they are more compact for storage without a large buckle or ratchet.

The tie downs are great and much easier to set...
The tie downs are great and much easier to set up than most of the others. I bought several after trying out a set first. Nice item.
