Sarasota Bronze 7-Piece Aluminum Rectangular Outdoor Dining Set

I looked for a set like this for a long time. I'm so glad I finally purchased it. I found this set on another site on sale, but still over $200 more than it is at Home Depot. I'm pleased with the quality and weight of the set. None of the pieces were damaged. We used a socket wrench to put it together and that helped a lot. The first couple chairs took as about an hour and a half, but after that, we started putting one together in about 15 minutes per. I like the color; it looks different in different lighting. I do want to note that it is shiny. So, if you're looking for a matte finish, you might not like it. It blends well with some other pieces we have and also like that the chairs are wide enough for heavier people to sit on. Overall, this is an excellent set for under $1000.

The Sarasota Bronze 7-Piece Aluminum Rectangular Outdoor Dining Set is gorgeous. It is a beautiful addition to any home. First, the packaging was very good to excellent. The chairs come two to a package, with numerous protective items to separate them and absorb shipping movements. The table is large and heavy, it's packaging was fine but a bit skimpy to me, although there was no damage. All the hardware and directions were provided. Second, assembly was simple and uneventful. The chairs come in four pieces, with two side pieces a seat and a back. As the directions state, assemble the chair with the nuts slightly tight. I stood the chair up so it would be as perfectly level as possible, then evenly tighten all the nuts. I found it best to tighten the backrest then the seat. Not required but helpful over time would be the application of a nut holding solution, not permanent (red) but a tight hold (blue). While there are locking washers, such a solution will insure the parts do not come apart over time. I will also add it is easier to assemble everything with a ratchet, as opposed to the provided wrench (but it will work.) My chairs are near perfectly level, only one leg needed a slight adjustment of the built-in leg levelers. Once tightened the chairs were rock solid; there was no wiggle or wobble. Each bolt and nut have a plastic cover to hide them from view, a nice touch; don't apply the covers until the chair is completely assembled and tested. The table is assembled easiest on its back using the box packaging to protect the top, and again use a just tight degree of tightness. With help, turn the table upright and subsequently evenly tighten all the nuts. Finally, my use and comfort comments are next. The metal rectangular table is quite large and a perfect size for the six chairs. I like rectangular compared to oval as you get the corners in a rectangular table for all your serving dishes, ovals always seem cramped. There is a center hole for an umbrella. It has a colored plastic cap you can leave in place if an umbrella doesn't work for your home. I found the chairs very comfortable and quite wide to accommodate today's large folk. The curved seat and curved back contour well to your natural body shape. Overall, this hammered bronze 6-chair and rectangular table patio set looks fabulous, is incredible strong, and happily comfortable. You'll be pleased that it adorns your outside dining area for years to come.

I own a winter home in Panama City, Florida. My outdoor furniture was destroyed during the hurricane we had, along with a lot of other things. I saw this set online and showed it to my wife and we decided to order it and it was a major upgrade from the old set. It took the two of us to put it together and it is everything we hoped it would be. The chairs are even comfortable without a cushion and they are set with the back having a little tilt for comfort. The color is very good looking as well. Both the table and chairs are very rigid and appear that they will last a long time as long as we don't get another hurricane. The chairs came in three boxes, 2 in each and the table in another. The table top shipped is about 61 pounds. Check out the photos. We are sure you will enjoy the set as much as we do. I might have to get another for the home up North.

Love this set! It is stunning and comfortable and I look forward to using it for many years!

The glides on the bottom of the chairs is of poor quality. They screw in. Have to put glue or some sort of adhesive on the threads or they will unscrew when you move or slide the chair. They are very soft and will wear down quickly on a rough surface. Expected a little better for the money spent. Other than this issue, it is a fairly decent looking set.
