      A:  Diane, Yes, that is correct. For this product we recommend not using petroleum based glues, because these can eat away at the molding. Best regards, NMC Team

        A:  Yes, it's that light. It's light enough that one person can hang it but two would be a lot faster. I'd wipe down the wall and ceiling where it's going first to give the caulk a clean, dust free surface to stick to.

            Looks real and beautiful!
            After being quoted 4k to install crown molding on my first floor, I gave this a try! It is easy to use and cut. I took my time and put it all up with adhesive. I used smaller pieces for the inside/outside corners which helped a lot. Youtube was a huge help with figuring out the inside/outside cuts and this material is very forgiving!

              Excellent product - so easy to install and no one will ever know they are made from polystyrene foam - after painting. Simple to install with adhesive caulk - no nails needed. Cuts fine with a chop saw - just go slow.

              WOW!!!
              This product is obviously not wood but you cannot tell, AT ALL. This product is amazing!!! Looks beautiful and incredibly easy to install. We had some walls that were not perfectly flat the the crown molded completely in place, you can't even see the seams! We done two rooms so far and will definitely buy more to complete the rest of the house.

                We painted it white and installed in the living room. Looks great and you can't tell it's not wood. Took a long time to figure out how to cut it correctly but once we did it went up ok. We have vaulted ceilings and it was a bit rough figuring out the angles! Just wish it wasn't out of stock when I went to re-order. Gladly, we had ordered enough extra to be able to finish this room, but would like to be able to do more rooms.

                After having our popcorn ceilings removed, we really needed a solution to the ugly cut ins and corners. We went with the 2.5 inch and it looks fabulous. I do not recommend the miter box route though. The miter saw was much cleaner and faster. Our ceilings are pretty high, so it took 2 people to keep the caulk from getting messy. Very glad we purchased these!
