It is absolute junk. I would never recommend this to anybody. Total waste of money.

I know how evaporative coolers work, so I didn't expect this to super cool a room. Even so, it was disappointing. The water reservoir overflows easily. The water level indicator is nearly impossible for me to read. Contrary to the manual, the light doesn't turn off. Yes, the *colored* lights turn off, but there's still a bright white light that doesn't turn off. Even if I covered the sides, the light is so bright that I'd expect it to seep out enough to rule out using this in my bedroom at night. And what's up with the colored lights, anyway? I wanted a cooling unit, not a disco ball. The thermometer on the unit is in Celsius. It's questionable whether that thermometer is useful in the first place, but be prepared if your preference is Fahrenheit.

the fan just blew with no cold air coming out

This product is horrible. Definitely not worth the money. It doesn’t blow cold air even with ice placed inside of the water tank. It only had two settings/speeds and you can’t turn the light off at all once the machine is running. DO NOT BUY.

Lights are on, no cooling home. Smells godawful of plastic, or something. Hope it is not burning up my computer, that i plugged it into. The operating manual is missing several key items. Cannot see the water level in the tube when the water is in it. SMoking. I see it now. Oh maybe that's wisps of evaporative something. Not cold at all. I will give it more time. This has been twenty minutes already. Buttons don't register on or not. Temp read out is getting higher, not lower.

Weak air flow and small tank make this fan/cooling device fairly useless.
