Product Overview

Create traditional Scandinavian, Italian cookies and cones with Krumkake and Pizzelle Iron. Krumkake is a thin, delicate embossed cookie of Norwegian origin. It is typically rolled into a cone while still warm and flexible and filled with whipped cream or fruit. A Pizzelle is a traditional Italian sugar cookie. Hinged iron's holder is heated on stove burner after iron has been preheated, batter is added and cooked briefly on each side by rotating the iron. Remove cookie and roll it around cone while warm to form a beautiful and delicious treat.
  • Makes 2 types of sweets, a delicate sugar cookie or a rolled cone treat
  • Iron imprints a delicate pattern of flowers and leaves on each cookie
  • Durable heavy cast aluminum iron can be used on all stovetops
  • Includes recipe and wooden rolling cone
  • Made in USA
  • 5 year warranty
  • Return Policy

This is a gift for my daughter. I haven't actually used it but have opened it up and looked at it. I'm hoping it will fit on her stove but it looks good though. Has a recipe too. I had it delivered to Home Depot and the tracking said it had been delivered but to wait for an email saying come get it. After over a week, I finally just went to the store. They had it. Said they didn't send anything because it said "Will Call". Hmm, I think Home Depot needs to explain to their associates what that actually means, but all in all got it and at a good price.

as advertised, the real thing, and the best price (w/ free shipping!) i found on the net...by half! i've used old, well-seasoned units in the past, and this produced perfect krumkake right out of the box. the recipe i used was not the one on the box, so i cannot speak to that. the wooden shaping cone was cumbersome to use, so i drilled a hole in the large end, and then glued in a dowel for a handle. two cones would have been nice, but i can get along fine with just the one.

Krumkake iron works as it should
This is an aluminum krumkake iron like the old ones were in iron. It is used to make the rolled thin cookies with a design on it . It works well
