Can this product be glued to concrete?
Jeff the floor was designed to be a floating floor so no glueing the tiles down I not recommended If the tiles are moving around you can try using a product called “Rug Stop” these are honey comb mats that come in many sizes. Put that down on the concrete than put mats on top. Hope this helps
Will the color transfer off of the multicolor ones if they get wet? I am hoping to use these to block knitting projects but am concerned about the mat staining the yarn since projects will be damp when pinning them to the foam.
Steph sorry we have no idea what would happen to the yarn when pinning them to our foam floor. Any warranty would be nullified
Could a toddler safely ride a tricycle on this flooring?
Janet it should be fine. It all depends on what surface you are putting the tiles on. Concrete would probably be the best. Carpet would not work well. A hardwood floor would be ok but they may slide some underneath so you may have to use Rug Grippers under the mats to help them not to slide
Does this product contain formaldehyde?
No they do not have formaldehyde in our products
is this foam closed cell
Yes but they cannot be used outdoors as the sun and water will make the expand and contract and not fit together anymore
What is the texture on the colored side? Because in the pictures there are two different textures: some have a "woven" or "thatched" pattern, and others have a square grid of raised pyramidal or diamond-like facets.
there is a weaved pattern on one side the other side has no pattern since it is not a reversible mat. It would have two pattern sides if it was a reversible mat.
Would this be ok outside and on top of a concrete patio? Trying to find something that would lessen the impact of a toddler fall. And what should I buy for 178 x 176 inches?
Mary these tiles are not designed for permanent outdoor use. (they still are foam) but they work perfect if the toddler wants to play and the mats are put out and brought back in after use. The area you are trying to cover is approx 225 sq feet. each tile covers 4 sq ft so you would need about 56 tiles
