Burned up
I purchased these for my daughter’s dorm room. After just one week of use, she smelled something burning and realized it was the lights. Thank God she was in the room to unplug them right away. See photos.

Worked as intended but because of the nature of LEDs and Alternating Currents (blink 60 times per second) they were just too distracting for me. There is a “hack” to modify the light strand with a bridge capacitor to feed them a Direct Current and eliminate the blink but it was not worth the effort

Poor quality product, don't waste your money. The lights are not a warm white light and the bulbs are not consistent in this regard. The wiring is twisty in some places and loose in others. But worst of all, the product is hazardous (likely made from PVC which is extremely toxic) and gives off a foul odor and also left a chalky substance on my hands when I strung the lights. I strongly recommend avoiding this company (Northlight/Gordon) because they do not understand safety.
