How far away will it work by bluetooth?

AnswersAbout 100 feet. But I cant recommend this as it doesn't last long. The blue tooth feature uses to much battery continuously making the light unusable most of the time. Mine is set to on off with blue tooth only and that option is not low enough battery drain, so I can not recommend this item. Its a good concept just not dependable.

AnswerYes. Typically, all outdoor products that run off of lithium-ion batteries are susceptible to freezing temperatures. It reduces the charging/discharging capability of the batteries, and your unit will slowly stop working. When the outdoor temperature goes above freezing, the batteries will begin to charge again.

AnswersSolar power only. Very easy and convenient to install and use. Main issue I've had is they stopped working after the first year. AnswerThe Novolink NL-DSB1 can be activated using your smartphone, as long as you are within Bluetooth range (about 50 feet) of the light. The motion sensor is always active, however, and cannot be deactivated or disconnected from the light. (You may be able to reduce sensitivity to LOW, to reduce the number of activations.)

Perfect for my house, no wiring required
I bought this before the holidays and finally had it installed recently. I put it on the "sunny side" of the house. Apparently the hardware included did not have the right type of screw for my siding, so we had to switch out the screws (only 1 type included). Other than that, it was easy to install, and I was able to connect with the controller app a couple days later (you have to be within a certain distance for it to recognize the light). Now it works perfectly. I can control the timing, distance, and brightness of the light. I can also turn it on or off from the app, so if I am inside and I want to light up the yard, I can easily do that from my phone. Because it's solar powered, it does not need electricity, which means it won't run up my utility bill. I happen to live in a spot that gets really good sun, so it was a perfect choice for me. The cord from the solar panel to the light is of sufficient length that it doesn't need to be right next to the light (I think it's about 10 feet long).

Great Solar Powered Security Light
I was able to install this security light and the corresponding solar panel in about 20 minutes. There is a convenient bracket supplied to hang the light unit (wish there was also a bracket to hang the solar portion, but it is mounted directly with screws). There was ample wire supplied so you can position the solar panel in a location facing south and install the actual light where it is needed. The light is very bright and illuminates our back patio very well. The solar panel is keeping the battery charged so I am very happy with this light. I have not used the Bluetooth application so cannot comment on it at this time.

Good light even survived a big fall
When I got this light I installed it but Bluetooth did not work because my Bluetooth was old type but light worked on its pre set setting and lasted a while before the security pole was knocked down an eighty plus mph freak wind gust. The panel charged the light full in about two days and reminns stable. Now judgment tried it in a vary violent fall plus the smacking it took but it hit with 20x the energy if it was to fall on its own but unharmed saving the rear plastic mount tore half off. But that was fault of nature not this light. So it's one rugged light Now I just need a rear assemblely and solar panel to restore the light

Wireless, Solar Powered & Motion Activation Outdoor Light
Solar powered and secure, even when a storm knocks out electricity it's guaranteed to work. The outdoor motion activated light is easily mounted with the included hardware. The 15 foot long cord is already attached to the solar panel. When it connects to the lights, it will fully charge by itself. The light has a free app to download to your phone for easily changing the light settings, however it is not required to operate. The app is optional, but not necessary for the outdoor light ti work.

Great Security Light
This solar LED Bluetooth motion activated smart light has every feature to do the outdoor security that is needed. It was so easy to install. Just 4 screws to hold up the solar panel. Then 2 screws for the mounting plate that holds on the light. And then plug from one to the other. It has to charge up for up to 3 days before turning on. This is so hi tech. You download the app. Then control this light with the bluetooth .

Quick to install, simple to setup.
The LED light comes fully assembly, with a mounting plate for the light and detachable solar panel. A long lead allows you to mount the light in a different location to the solar panel. Mounting hardware is included.
Two 3W LEDs provide a combined 500 lumen output, which is great for a solar light.
To get the most from this light, you need to install the iOS or Android app (free) which connects to the light via BlueTooth. Pairing the phone to the light was incredibly simple and took just a few seconds. The app allows you to take a picture of the light in situ, which is helpful for identify multiple lights quickly in the app. From within the app you can control the lights brightness and sensitivity, and even view the current battery status. An 'economy mode' that optimizes the lights output to ensure it lasts even in low charging conditions.
The motion sensor covers 160 degrees and 50 feet. I was able to connect to the light via Blue
Tooth from almost 75 feet away (outdoor).
I have this mounted on the outside of a hay barn to light up the area when feeding early morning or late at night.
The LEDs are not replaceable. The battery is replaceable, but uses a proprietary battery.
If you need motion activated light in an area without power, this is the one to get. Great product.

Super Easy to install and covers a great area
I have a motion light on the house but there is a blind spot by the garage and I did not want to call the electrician to connect some wires. I saw this solar powered light and it was the solution. When I got it it was easy to install. It only two screws to install the light and two more for the panel. I did follow the instructions and it was easy. It is very cold here in Chicago so I thought the charge was not going to hold but it does. The application was easy to download and install, i was able to find and connect to the lights via Bluetooth fairly easy. It will save on electricity, I can move it somewhere else if I need to. I can turn it on / off from my phone without going outside. I almost forgot to mention that it has very bright powerful LED s.

Simple install
Love this little guy. Named him gizmo. Look at him you'll see why. He is perfect for my application. I needed a shed light that I could use when I open the doors in the dark. This unit works by sensor or by Bluetooth via a free downloadable app. I can turn light on before I open doors or use mounted sensor to activate lights. Two adjustable light heads for customizing coverage of light. They are bright enough to illuminate my 8 by 8 shed easily. Install-four included self taping screws to mount solar panel and two screws to mount lamp bracket just slide lamp unit into bracket plug in solar panel hit on button your up and running. Then for more convenience down load free app set up Bluetooth and have some fun.

Bright light
This is a well thought effective security light. With its design reminiscent of E.T. or WALL.E, this light gets some use to. The solar panel recharges an internal battery which seems to store adequately enough energy. The LEDs are surprisingly strong and provide a clear white light that should deter any intruder. On top of these features, the light can be controlled via any smartphone, through a dedicated application, which is impressive.

very bright security lighting
This solar outdoor LED motion activated light is perfect for exterior security lighting for the home. This product does not require electrical support. It took my husband about 30 minutes to read the directions and install. The solar panel is suggested to be installed facing on the SOUTH side of the house. My husband did not want to mount it anywhere on the roof, so that was the most important decision of the installation.
He used a power drill to position and secure the anchors and then the light screws easily into place. There is a nice clamp on the back of the solar panel to hide the excess wire. The unit is solar powered and takes three days to power up for use. Batteries are included with the light that re-charge with the solar power.
This is a very nice unit, but must have sun light to operate. This light could not be used in a shed or other outdoor building. I like that it will come on when someone is approaching the front of my home. I like the additional security lighting around my home.
