Product Details

The NuFiber panel is a durable, fiberglass sheet factory laminated OSB combining the many advantages of wood and fiberglass (FRP). NuFiber is ideal for new construction of walls, ceilings or partitions. They easily install directly to studs, ceiling joists, furring strips or solid surfaces and can even be cut down to be utilized as a drop in ceiling tile.

    A:  Hi there, we do not offer caps for the fasteners, and we would recommend a V-9 division bar for the joints, which you can special order through the Home Depot Pro desk.

      A:  Normal Sheet FRP Would use: https://www.homedepot.com/p/Stabilit-855-1-4-in-x-1-1-8-in-x-96-in-PVC-Composite-White-FRP-Divider-Moulding-fits-1-8-in-material-10002-ZW096CB/205347156 . How ever since this is fully adhered to OSB it will not fit. In my application I used 2" angled aluminum to cover the Corners. For Straight seams I might use: https://www.homedepot.com/p/TrimMaster-9-16-in-x-98-1-2-in-Satin-Silver-Aluminum-T-Shaped-Tile-Edging-Trim-H8741MA98/206449041 or Any of the Vinyl T-Molding products available to be ordered. As for covering screws https://www.homedepot.com/p/Everbilt-2-Phillips-White-Flat-Head-Screw-Cover-25-Piece-802194/204275874

            the FRP was stated in advertising as plywood. I was particle board not plywood and it was bowed because of being laminated to the particle board. Should have been flat not bowed for that price per sheet.

            This product came VERY well packaged. There was some slight freight damage to the box, but the damage did not penetrate the other two layers of packaging. The FRP is bonded to what I would call OSB. My use of this is probably outside recommendations. I am making crawl space access doors. The FRP may break down in the sun eventually, but the doors will be protected most of the day from direct sun, and the panel is less expensive than one alternative, and the doors look and function VERY much better than the former access doors. The panel easily bows, so it needs to have stiffening and straightening behind it. I was able to cut the panel with a circular saw from the back side. I used a fine tooth blade. I have not seen any separation of the FRP from the backing. The FRP surface is shiny and matches the texture of other items on the home.

            Looks even better than I could have hoped for. While it is not flexible because of the plywood backing, it is worth the small extra effort to install. I would encourage anyone considering a new kitchen back splash to go with this product.
