I just bought this gun and used these nails for my project. I also used the Grip Rite 3" galvanized and 3" bright. No problems with any of them. Built a shed with it and never had a jam.
The Numax SFR3490 will shoot ANY brand of 30-34 Degree Framing nails ranging 2" to 3-1/2" long. Your local Home Depot will carry some you can use as long as you're in a 30-34 degree market. If you are not you may have to order them online.
