Ridge-Line 12-Piece Aluminum Nonstick Cookware Set in Chrome

My first thoughts right out of the box were two-fold -- high rims and heavy. These are not flimsy and thin pots and pans. They are aluminum with nylon silicone handles. The lids are tempered glass. The non-stick coatings used is whiteford xyland plus, hard-anodized. They have some heft in them. If you are older or have weaker arms, these "may" be a little much. For me, I kind of like the weight in them. The pans all have a high rim, perfect for sauces, saute's, and tossing/sloshing food around to cook. The only real negative thought that came to mind is that I was not a fan of the pot handles. I am always suspect to anything non-metal. Don't use that comments against these pots. That is just my opinion. You get a variety of pans and a couple of pots. The lids all come with a venting hole in them so steam has a place to escape and make for a cleaner cooking experiences with nothing boiling over. It comes with three utensils -- pretty standard. But I will say the pasta spoon is huge! Most are so narrow. This one is fairly wide and I like that - a lot! As most cooks learn the hard way, myself included, a lot of pans are meant to be cooked on medium heat. These pans should also be only cooked with non-metal utensils. It will make them last a whole lot longer. While I have only had these pots and pans a couple of weeks now, they cook with pretty even heat and are a breeze to clean. Some suggestions from NutriChef -- wash with warm soapy water before first use. Also, if you can, grease the pans before first use. Never use sharp or metal utensils. Always match the proper lid to each pot/pan. And never overheat the pot or pan. Always allow for the pan to cool before washing. Try to not use metallic brush or scouring pads while cleaning. Lastly, always hand wash with liquid detergent. Pots and pans are safe for gas, electric, ceramic and induction counter cook tops. Good to 500 degrees. The sizes are... The set includes a large 11 inch fry pan , medium 9.5 inch fry pan, small 7.9 inch fry pan, covered 3.6 quart Dutch oven pot, covered 2.1 quart cooking pot, cover 1.7 quart saucepan pot, and three kitchen utensils. The pots have a durable and long lasting non-stick coating and are made of environmentally friendly construction.

The nutrichef ridge line cookware is a great set. The have a stylish design . The pots and skillets are made of thick aluminum. Therr are 3 vented lids They fit all but the largest skillet. The handles are ergonomic. One qualm I do have is because the unique design . They do not stack well. Cooking they seem to provide even heat and they clean up so easy. The enclosed utensils are not as nice as the pots but they will do the trick.

I picked the NutriChef Ridge-Line 12-Piece Aluminum Nonstick Cookware Set in Chrome, Grey. Because of it's stylish tapering and ridge line design on the outside of the cookwares set. Everything about this cookware is Heavy Duty, I like the cool to the touch handles, but they probably make them unable to go in the oven. I like the see through lids with the stay cool handles. The utensils are well and heavy duty, not flimsy like other sets.

The Nutrichef Ridge - line Nonstick Cookware set in Chrome (Grey) is AMAZING! I mean the quality of this set is out of this world. And the ridges are a nice detail. The set was packed tight and double boxed so you won't have to worry about anything breaking, so that is a plus. The cookware set consists of a 11inch Large frying pan, 9.5inch Medium fry pan, 7.9inch small fry pan, 3.6inch quart Covered Dutch oven, 2.1inch Covered cooking pot, and kitchen tools( spoon, spatula etc). The pieces are heavy and durable, which should last a long time. Can't wait to get cooking! I am extremely happy with this product and highly recommend it!
