    You have to hold the lid shut to maintain the vacuum while it seals, but otherwise it's a good purchase for vacuum sealing meats prior to freezing.

    This product does not work
    It did not work I have a garden and was waiting to use it in order to vacuum seal my vegetables. I was totally disappointed when it did not do the job. I now risk losing my vegetable to freezer burns. I do not recommend this product to anyone.
