The build quality of the air purifier is pretty good. I can feel fresh air in the car and hope it helps with breathing clean air.
I am using it in an old Camry. So, usage is a bit rough. I wasn't able to fix it on the dashboard though, and the wire wasn't looking great if I keep it just like that. So, keep in mind the wire running through the main panel to dashboard. The best place I found was under the passenger seat. I think it has space to vantilate air around and it doesn't look ugly or weird in terms of wires or a bulky piece on the face of the car. A noise level is somewhat high of the air purifier, but not out of ordinary to distract you in a conversation. There is always a humming noise.

The car air purifier is working well and the air quality feels much better in my long commute to work. I have some piece of mind knowing that the air in my car is cleaner than not having a HEPA filter. It has a small profile and I use the the Velcro that came with it so it does not move around my dashboard. The filter should last about six to nine months before I have to change it. Using the lowest setting the purifier has a low humming that you can get used to, but in the highest setting it is too distracting for me. I just leave it on high for the first three minutes and then switch it to low or off so I can listen to the radio.

After a few years old my old vehicle loses its new clean smell, then smelly odors from those spilled food and drinks on the floor and seats, I am glad to have this NuvoMed car air purifier to help those yucky odors & old car scents. It is a small unit with a HEPA filter and ion generator to removes 99 percent of air impurities such as dust, pollen, smoke, mold and pet dander but thanks goodness, I do not have any pets. I am allergy to the dust. The HEPA filter is recommended to be replaced every 6 to 9 months. The purifier has 2 speeds, to plug in the 12 volt cigarette lighter socket. There are 2 pairs of Velcro stripes that are included to attach to my dash board and the bottom of the purifier to keep it from sliding on the dash board.
great for during allergy seasons. turns on and off with my car.

I got this primarily because I’m tired of smelling exhaust and/or cigarette smoke from cars around me on the road or stopped at traffic lights. My car does not have a cabin filter so I’m hoping this HEPA filter will do the job. I’ve only used it for one day and didn’t experience any odors; however, I don’t always smell anything every day so prolonged use will let me know if it’s working. If so, I might recommend this to my son who suffers from seasonal allergies. I did check about replacing the filter and it looks like they are $12.99 which I think is a bit expensive given that the recommendation is to replace this every 6 to 9 months.
