Plumbing seems to always be my nemesis with any DYI job I tackle. It’s a relief when you buy the right product, saving you another trip to the store and the hassle of a leak. The Everbilt plastic threaded sink drain pipe adapter with the slip fitting really helped me make an awkward connection. I had to remove some of the wall pipe to install new cabinets and the adapter helped me put everything back together. I love it when a plan comes together. Make sure to note the female (non-threaded) end is cemented to the wall/drain pipe and is not compression fitting.

Ordered this at the right time as the weather is finally getting nice here. I have some work to do on my work shop sink and part of the work is t change the drain fittings. i do this every few years as the sink and water lines are outside unprotected all year long. Of course the water is turned off seasonally but it still gets some wear and tear from the harsh winters temperature here. This is going to be installed in the next few weeks when I open up my sprinkler lines. I would recommend to others as you can't go wrong with these fittings.
