Love everything about it
I bought this 5 years ago and love it more then my 300 gallon smoker and smoking briskets on it is the best way to go

Bad Paint
Paint started peeling after two uses and the company accused me of using lighter fluid. Spend your money somewhere else. Great theory, cheap paint. The solution is sending a so called high temp paint that's better than what comes on the smoker, I declined the offer and will repair on my own.

The paint is coming off!
My husband loves the smoker however the paint came off the firebox in spots the day we seasoned it. Used it yesterday for the second time. More paint is now coming off the top of the firebox.

Poor Paint Quality
This smoker has peeling paint and rust after two uses. Contacted the manufacturer for a warranty claim, they accused me of using lighter fluid which overheated the smoker. Never used lighter fluid and never heated it up over 350 degrees. This company agreed to send me touch up paint, which is not the paint that it is shipped with, I politely refused the paint and will make the repairs on my own. My only problem is, why continue to sale an inferior product and then blame the consumer for misuse?

I'm very happy I decided to upgrade to this smoker
This thing holds temp like a champ, heavy duty, clean up and maintenance is easy a little canola oil or whatever you prefer amd you're good. The only mod I felt was necessary was a latch on the fire box.

Great features
Got it a year ago as a gift .love it other then the fire box don't close all the way.so it don't smoke as well as it could have to put something heavy to keep it down all the way.

Great design and great smoker
Really good build quality and easy to assemble. For a relatively inexpensive smoker from a big box store theres not much to complain about. I used some high temperature gasket material to seal up some of the seams and there is very little leakage of smoke. It holds temperature fairly well and can be easily adjusted with the dampeners. I had a previous version of this smoker for 15 years and this one is of a better build quality so i expect it last even longer

Best offset smoker i have ever owned
My buddy and I have had our OJ's for over 3 years now, and I wouldn't hesitate to buy it again. After a few quick mods, this baby will sit @ 225 for hours with little to no effort on my part. I honestly think these are very under rated for what your getting. With the square area of smoking space for food and the ease of use, it's probably one of the best smokers out there for the $$$$!!
