I was so happy to find this hook with a clip catch. For me it’s earthquake-safe as I don’t want a cherished breakable item to fall off the wall. I could not find this item in local hardware stores but Home Depot had it and shipped from FL to CA at no cost to me, for pickup from my local Home Depot.

These are huge, 2x the size compared to Elite 20lb....
These are huge, 2x the size compared to Elite 20lb. Ook needs a 10lb. The 20lb Ook is fine with a picture but protrudes too high above the plate when using plate hangers.

A great (maybe only) way to hang pictures if you live in earthquake country. Good chance you'll have glass all over the floor after a quake without using these to try to limit damage. After a quake you'll have enough to deal with and lacerations of the feet or flying picture frames should not be one of them.
