Women's Large Black 7.38-Volt Lithium-Ion Heated Down Vest with 90% Down Insulation and Upgraded Battery Pack

The Ororo Women's heated down vest is a must have for anyone who just cannot keep warm during the colder months. We got this for my wife as she has had use of a similar Ororo vest last year and loved it. This modem is even better than the older vests from last season as they have a snap in hood. The construction is very light and there is a nice amount of down to keep her warm even without the heated elements. The heated elements are in different areas (upper back, front near pockets and collar) but it is enough to keep my wife very happy. This newer model has a smaller battery pack than the one she used last year. Not that the older vest was bulky because of the larger battery but it’s nice to see the latest battery tech being used to keep the vest light in weight. The on/off button must be held until it lights up showing it is working. Battery life is said to be 10 hours, but she usually recharges after 5-6 hours of use to keep it fully charged. A big thumbs up to Ororo for another great product.

My wife is always cold. Even in the midst of a sweltering August, she will say she feels cold. I was finally able to convince her to try this vest. Eureka! She loves it! It couldn't be easier to use and the detachable hood is a plus. She can wear it indoors and outside.The vest is light and fits her well, and the black color makes it easy to wear as an accessory. Let's hope the vest material and battery last a long time.

Wow! this vest is so cool! Fits snug to the body holding the heat in. Battery pack in the inside pocket keeps it out of the elements, and as soon as you plug it in, the bright red light on the upper left side shines to let you know you're fully charged. Made of water repellent fabric, with an enviromentally friendly filling of goose down and duck feathers, this vest is so comfy and warm. It even comes with it's own storage/laundry bag. There's about an initial 6 hour charge for the battery, thereafter should be fully charged every 6 months. The vest has a detachable hood, and two side pockets. Make sure the battery pack is removed and the jacket fully zipped before machine washing. This is a must for anyone who loves the cold outdoors!!
