Thank you for your question but there appears to be a discrepancy on which product may have been used. You say you used QUAD MAX Clear, but the product referenced from the Home Depot website shows QUAD Invisible Clear. This is important to know because they are two different chemistries. In general, fresh sealants may feel somewhat tacky but because of differences in chemistries cure times can be significantly different. Was any type of tooling agent used? If yes, what was used. If you can clarify which product used was actually used, we can help you. Please call our technical Help Line at 1-800-624-7767. Ask for an Application Specialist if necessary. Otherwise you can visit www.ositough.com and check the Technical Data Sheet for the product used.
The code 19234 18 is a Julian format where as 19 = the year of manufacture and 234 = the day of the year. The other digits are internal use only. The QUAD product was made August 22, 2019
Yes, the QUAD Invisible is water resistant when fully cured.
Typically the QUAD sealant should not be painted for at least 7-14 days or longer depending upon temperature, humidity and volume of sealant used. This is a solvent based sealant and it must be fully cured before painting.
