A: Thank you for the question. OSI QUAD MAX Sealant is not recommended for the application described. This product is not designed for use in traffic-bearing applications, such as on walkways. This is not to say you cannot try, but understand that there are no guarantees the application will provide any type of permanency.
A: Thank you for the question. The answer is yes, OSI QUAD MAX Sealant can be reapplied over itself, assuming the original application is not old and the surface is clean. When replacing old or damaged sealant, we always recommend removing any existing sealant before application of new sealant.
A: Yes it will. Perfect solution would be to remove the old bead and recaulk that way it is better.
A: Thank you for the question. OSI QUAD MAX is designed for use in the home construction industry. It has not been tested for automotive or vehicular applications, so it is not possible to know what kind of results you could expect. You're welcome to try, but keep in mind this intended use is not guaranteed.
A: Thank you for the question. OSI QUAD MAX may or may not be compatible with butyl tapes. Unfortunately, we cannot speak to what effect it may have on the sealant.
