Does the faucet come with a base plate? The scews provided to mount the tripod stand dont screw into the floor.
Asked by Jocko June 18, 2018The screws provided are not screws but anchors to cement floor. If you have wooden floor then use good size wood screws for the tripod . Be sure that the water supply from under floor and the hole is not larger than the tripod.

Is the chrome on this very shiny or a bit duller?

does this faucet have a built in back flow (check valve)?
Asked by Dannys September 30, 2016Hi Danny, this is more a response to the reply from OVE Decors than an answer to your question. I would like to point out to OVE Decors that you specifically said that you needed documentation to show the inspector and I seriously doubt he will accept OVE chat response as proof. The OVE website does not offer ANY product specifications at all. The product data sheet does not even have a product number let alone any ASME or ASSE certification numbers. The bottom line is that this tub faucet DOES NOT meet Florida Plumbing Code to be installed for a tub because it has not been certified by the above agencies. In order to meet code you would need to install a separate thermostatic valve in line prior to the faucet and since it is floor mount faucet that requires extra pipe during rough in stage to loop the hot water back over to inside a vanity cabinet for installation of a thermostatic valve. French manufacturer has no incentive to tell you any of this if they even understand it. 2014 FPC 424.5
Does the top of faucet swivel/tuen such that I can move it out of the way after filling the tub?
Asked by Lizzy September 23, 2016I bought mine and have pulled it out of the box. While there is a set screw on the side where you can lock the handle in one position, it does swivel. I put soapy water around the faucet and blew into the top while blocking the water inlets and did not get any bubble production so it appears it is safe to leave as a swivel head.
We cannot get hot water to come out of this faucet. How do we adjust hot and cold water.
