Decorative structural wood connectors when it comes to attaching timbers, posts, joists and beams Ornamental Wood Ties (OWT) are the ultimate statement of style and strength. OWT hardware produces strong connections as well as enhancement to your project design. With a wide range of connectors and components you can use your imagination to build a project that is uniquely your own. All OWT wood ties are made with ultra-heavy gauge steel and hot dipped galvanized after fabrication. The parts are then finished with an exterior grade powder coating for complete protection from corrosion. This makes them suitable for harsh environments and contact with ACQ treated lumber. OWT hardware is commonly used to construct pergolas, arbors, pavilions or decks but with a little imagination you can build an endless number of projects with OWT. Although OWT is designed to perform in outdoor environments it is equally functional for interior projects. OWT has also been engineered to make installation faster and easier with industry leading features and attachment techniques. Unlike conventional wood post bases and brackets OWT does not require extra labor and materials to conceal them, saving time and money.

Quality Product Line
I used a number of the products from this line on a recent project and was very pleased to not only find the products, pergola hardware is scarce, but also to find such a well engineered and easy to use line of hardware. On the first project I used over $1,000 of this OWT product line to build a 10' x 30' cedar pergola and am about to start another project that will require as much or more. These nuts were extras I thought I might need.
The only downside is that Home Depot doesn't stock the hardware. It's a lot of $ to spend on something you can't touch or see before deciding to step up and place an online order. I visited the manufacturer before I ordered but they probably wouldn't appreciate a stream of Home Depot customers coming to see for themselves.

Great Investment!
We recently installed a new arbor/patio cover in our back yard. We heard about the OZCO line through a friend and thought we would try it out. We were on the fence about trying it due to the added costs, but we decided to add them to our patio based on good reviews from some past clients. Adding these to our patio was the BEST decision we made! They took our patio from "nice" to "amazing" and a real showstopper. Not only do they add reinforced structure, but they look great and really add an extra touch to take your patio to the next level. We've already received so many compliments and I would highly recommend investing in the parts when you build your patio. The hardware looks great and we could not be happier.
