After using this containers for less than a week some of the lids are beginning to develop "cracks", it seems that they will break sooner or later. I expected this to be good for AT LEAST a year, but it's been less than a couple of days and they are already falling apart.
Pros: The seal for this containers is tight, I liked that, you can definitely throw this in your lunchbox and things won't spill.

Great for Freshness and Beauty
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I was initially impressed with the container for the thickness of the glass and gasket to keep my food fresh. I was also able to put it in my dishwasher which is great when you work full time and need to save time wherever you can. I remained impressed when I sliced up my strawberries over the weekend and by Wednesday they were still as fresh.

Manages to Make Leftovers Appealing
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I received this glass container a few weeks ago and it has been in constant fridge rotation ever since. The quality of the product was obvious straight from the box. The glass is thick and seems like it could handle a fall without shattering. The cover gives a satisfying snap ensuring leftovers are protected. Another plus of this lid is that you can almost overflow the container and still get a tight seal every time. I have stored everything from leftover roasted chicken to cookie dough and never worry that the lid might pop off. This lockability makes it perfect for transporting lunches without leaks, though it adds considerable weight to my lunch box. I love that it can goes in the freezer, fridge, microwave, and oven, making it perfect for any type of food storage job. My only disappointment is that the product arrived slightly damaged (see photo) with a chip on the corner of the lid. This hasn't in any way interfered with its function and is just a cosmetic issue. I am eager to build my collection of these containers in the future!

Love the secure lid
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Most containers I buy have a bad time keeping a tight seal and keeping the contents inside. I really like this container because it actually keeps a great seal on your items and the tabs are easy to close.
Additionally, there’s a little tab on the side to help you open the container more easily. I love that. It’s the little things that OXO thinks of.
I was also able to take this from refrigerator to microwave after popping the top off. Love that I can use this in different temperatures.

Exceptional quality with the seal filling flush edge-to-edge! Spacious container that fit an entire head of celery.

This Good Grips 12 pc Container Set states this item has a "Smart Seal" in the product desciption. I think more descriptive adjectives should be added to "Smart Seal" ....such words as ingenious, amazing, totally leak-proof! Instead of just 2 locking tabs like most containers have, Good Grips has put 4 on both the rectangular and round lids. They also added a sturdy silicone gasket inside the lids. The combination of these two features really seals the containers tight and even with shaking or laying the container on its side, there is no leakage. They are a nice sizes to have for small portions. Rectangular sizes: (2) 4oz, (1) .6 Cup, (1) 3.5 Cup and Round size: (2) 1 Cup. They each come with their own lid. They can be used in the freezer, the oven and also the microwave, which is really convenient. Another great feature is that every glass container has the measurement size and a usuage picture (freezer, oven, microwave) etched on the inside bottom. I really like this information being convenienly located so there's no guessing or trying to remember everytime I use them. Containers and tops can go in the dishwasher and are also stain proof. Great set of glass containers and so well-made!

These containers can go in frig, freezer, oven and microwave! This is the benefit over all-plastic storage containers. The covers are very sturdy. I can't imagine the lid wings breaking off. The seal is tight and the lids should remain flat. I've used others that warp/curl making the seal questionable.
There are warnings on the packaging -- 1) Never cook in the oven with a lid on it (intuitive) , 2) Never move from freezer to oven if oven is hotter than 450 degrees F. (I never would think to put frozen glassware into a hot oven, but I guess it's OK.) 3) Pre-heat the oven before putting the glass container in the oven (the pre-heat process can damage the container -- this is something that I would not know intuitively.)
The glass containers are relatively thick. The smaller containers really don't have a lot of space within. It's as if there is more glass than space to hold your food item. I can't imagine storing anything in the smallest containers that I will eventually re-heat. These smaller containers will take more space in the frig and storage drawer than simpler all-plastic storage containers.

12 Piece Round and Rectangle Good Grips OXO Stacking Containers. Love the OXO Good Grips products. These glass bowls are heavy duty. On the bottom of each glass container are images of how many cups or ounces they will hold. The largest is a rectangle shape and will hold 3.5 cups, the next size 1.6 cups, then 2 each round containers hold 1 cup and the smaller size (2 each) hold 4 ounces. Also shown on the bottom are symbols for freezing, oven and microwave use. The lids are also heavy duty and have four locking tabs and stack nicely on top of each other. I love that OXO always include a card with their info.

OXO Good Grips are the best products! Oven, microwave, freezer and dishwasher safe and the lids can go on the top rack of the dishwasher. The lids seal and are easy to put on and take off. I just received these, washed them and took photos of them drying. Can't wait to use them. I have another brand where the lids do not fit properly. I tested these immediately and they fit great!

This company never disappoints and this is no exception. These containers are heavy-duty and the lids/seals are going to last a long time. When you first get them, the lids are difficult to snap into place; I had to use the heels of my hands to do so. Once I'd had them a few weeks, they were easier to snap on. I wouldn't recommend them for someone whose hand strength is compromised or an older person/someone who has arthritis. I've been transitioning to glass containers to get away from containers with BPA and these fit the bill. Being borosilicate glass, they can take the heat, cold and microwave without fracturing. The seals are removable for cleaning and easily removed (I used a butter knife to lift the one that didn't want to cooperate). The box is a lot larger than the set because they're packed to ensure safe arrival.
