I love OXO products and have been using them for many years from big items(like coffee makers) to now something as small and simple as salt and peppers shakers. It’s the small details that make a difference like the easy screw on/ off lids,different sized holes for each condiment and the little spout that flips out if you need to pour out some. The container is made of a clear high quality plastic that can be easily cleaned if dirty and the holes for shaking the bottle onto foods are large enough for nothing to get blocked. It is a simple and timeless design that will fit into any decor and will function for many years.

This shaker set is such a great idea as it has a spout that allows one to pour out salt or pepper when cooking or baking. Sprinkling salt and pepper is easy to do and the holes allow a nice amount to be sprinkled. They are sharp looking and I can't say enough about the side pouring spout being a baker this is suck a time saver when baking I didn't have to get out the large salt container while making cookies. Love this feature.

I love that these shakers have a pour spout. I do a lot of cooking and it's so annoying sometimes to keep shaking until you get just enough so I was immediately drawn to the convenience of the pour spout. It snaps in when you're done with it so you don't have to worry about it falling open when you're just salting a meal. I wish they were glass, but then again that's just because I'm used to glass. The plastic makes it pretty durable and I don't have to worry about dropping it or anything.

These are attractive and functional salt and pepper shakers. They’re glass, so you can see what is in each one and how much — you won’t inadvertently apply pepper when you want salt. The body is glass, not plastic, so you can scrub it, and it won’t yellow. The tops are stainless and won’t rust. Each shaker has a side spout for pouring, and it’s secure and unobtrusive so that it won’t be accidentally opened. The stainless tops have a plastic escutcheon which twists off. The salt shaker has sixteen holes, and the pepper shaker has six holes of the same size, an appropriate ratio. The shakers each hold 1/4 cup, a good quantity so you won’t have to refill often. These shakers are attractive and functional.

This review is for the OXO Good Grips Salt and Pepper Shaker Set which I got a chance to check out.
OXO is a new brand to me, I’ve not used any of their products before. I found the fit and finish of the salt ‘n pepper shakers to be very good.
All I want from a salt ‘n pepper shaker set is for it to not pour too much (our last salt shaker really poured it on!) and not to clog the little holes easily.
The OXO shakers do a nice job of not dumping too much salt or pepper onto the food and are a nice size and easy to fill (see photo below of hole patterns).
They offer an additional feature – there’s a small side spout on each shaker that allows you to pour out the spice in quantity, so it’s easy to get a teaspoon or such amount when you’re preparing a dish.
The lids are the ‘screw on’ type and easily removed or replaced.
They work as advertised, and the market price is competitive, and the quality is good – about all you can ask out of a salt ‘n pepper shaker set.

This salt and pepper shaker set is exactly what we wanted. Each of the shakers is big enough to hold a goodly amount of salt/pepper, but not too big. They fit very nicely in your hand.
Also, we are becoming huge fans of the OXO Company. We have added to our collection of these "GOOD GRIPS" kitchen utensils over the last few months and every new item we get, we love. The company has spent the time, done the research and discovered what really works on these items that have been around since the dawn of mankind. The brand "GOOD GRIPS" is evident when you see the items, the handles on all of their products are easy to grab and use and somehow they made them look really cool too. Maybe it's like a certain car company once said, "Form follows function". The term, ergonomic fits very nicely in this description.
We are truly impressed with these products and plan on increasing our collection as we come across more things in our kitchen that are worn out and need replacing. Actually, we will probably start replacing things that don't even need replacing, these products are that good.
