Q:Do you have an inlet size of 1" OD so that I can connect a 1" ID transparent vinyl hose from the condensation line? If not, would the 7/8" OD inlet connecting to the 1" ID vinyl hose be acceptable given it is a low pressure drip line.

A: You would need a tailpiece that does not have a Hi-line branch. This cannot be corrected by plugging the connection.

Most 1 star reviews are installer error
No issues with this leaking when you install it properly.
***this is not meant to attach directly to the basket strainer***
It clearly shows on the packaging, this section attaches to the basket strainer tail piece. The basket strainer tail piece is screwed on with a different basket strainer gasket and a different style compression connection. This will absolutly leak if you try screwing it directly to the strainer. Had to leave this review because clearly people can't follow instructions.

JUNK
Complete and total GARBAGE! After swapping this product 3 times because they all 3 LEAKED, I’ve come to the conclusion I’ve been RIPPED OFF! The washer feels like plastic and it doesn’t seal at the nut provided! I lost $300 to a paid plumber who completely gave up on this product. DO NOT BUY THIS JUNK!!!! It leaked 1/4 cup of water the first night and it’s getting worse! I’m going to have to pay a plumber again and HOME DEPOT WILL NOT COMPENSATE A PENNY OF MY LOSS FOR SELLING THOS DEFECTIVE PRODUCT ON TGEIR SHELF! If you want quality, you won’t find it at Home Depot! They are selling products that barely pass inspection! It’s a shame they’re gone down hill in product and customer service!
They told me if I let their store install the JUNK they sold me they would back it up! Sorry ! Not second mortgaging my home to pay your outrageous plumber fees!
GOODBYE forever Home Depot! I’ll go elsewhere to people who cares about their product not working

Junk! Do Not purchase! Have a bucket handy!
I wish I had seen these reviews! Everyone is CORRECT... This tailpiece WILL NOT tighten up at all! You cannot use the supplied washer the threads on the so -called "lock-nut" do anything but lock! Tomorrow I am going to a real hardware store and try and buy one that actually works! AVOID at all costs as this will LEAK LEAK LEAK and WON'T ever seal up to the strainer basket threads!

2 problems: Definitely not as pictured, the branch pipe is not reinforced as the model image shows. I'm not going to say its flimsy, but the picture looks like it would be heavier duty.
Second, if you are looking to attach this to a metal drain thread, you have to make sure the threads on the metal have "meat" and aren't shaved down. I used specifically the Glacier Bay Spin Lock Sink Strainer, and this tail piece does not mate to it at all. The plastic threads have really nothing to bite on to and slip as soon as it starts to get even a tiny bit tight. I found a different tail piece at another hardware store that was threaded on top (this one has a captive nut instead), so I used the small plastic tail piece from the strainer, and used a rubber compression washer and nut to mate to the different branch tail piece in my set up.
