AnswerYes. You can lightly pry around the outside edge with a flathead screwdriver or take a metal hanger and loop it through the Strainer and lift straight out.

I ordered this drain cover to cover my Oatey chrome shower drain as all my new fixtures are bronz...
I ordered this drain cover to cover my Oatey chrome shower drain as all my new fixtures are bronze in my recent bathroom remodel. This covef was recommended as a solution. Very disappointed as this cover didn't fit my 4" chrome Oatey drain. When you try to "Snap" it in place, this cover shifts to one side of the drain so it is offset and remains too loose to be trusted to stay in place. Other than not working with an Oatey drain, this cover has an attractive finish.
