Can i use this glue to bond canvas fabric to a pvc frame i built

I do not think so. It softens and bonds plastic (PVC) to plastic (PVC). It may allow you to embed the canvas in the pvc, but I would not expect a good bond. If you wrap the cloth around the pipe and use epoxy, I hink you will get better results.

I have used Oatey clear PVC cement for my sump pump pipe. For pipes over 1.5" I apply the purple treatment let it dry and then apply this cement. Larger pipes require the additional step to make sure it holds properly. The instructions are on the can.tly

Is this cement good, adecuate for building cabinets?

I am not sure what you are using to build your project but if you are connecting PVC pipe this cement does an excellent job. I built a yard tractor with PVC pipe connecting joints with this cement; no issues at all. It does an excellent job. To prevent cement from showing on the pipes being connected, wrap in blue painters tape to catch glue spill over. Then remove the tape taking off the spillage with the tape.

Most PVC cement is pretty standard. However I did like the consistency of this brand. Not too thick but covered well. Worked great. Push together and within seconds the pipes are adhered together.

as other reviews have stated ,, my old unused can was just a glob after a few years since last use ,,, i decided to test and play ,, i put it on old pvc pipes that been been out in the yard for a few years too ,, and dirty ,, so i just wiped it with a wet rag and just use it without the purple primer ... just to see what if ,,,,,, for connections of a new sump pump ,,,, it did not dry when i typically do it within a few seconds ,, but then i just put a big big glob on both of the connecting piece ,, so i probably used too much ,, but when it did dry after about 5 minutes ,, it was nice and tight and so far after a couple weeks, , it has been holding with no leak .. i read that the primer was to also melt the pvc to soften it and then the cement would complete a better weld ... apparently it can work without the primer purple .. also after use ,, i put a coating of cement on the cap thread before closing ,, so with the hopes that maybe after a few years ,, it will me give a seal that it will not gob in the future ,, and it will be the future that tells me if that works .. i tried to show in my picture but is difficult to show ,, but i did not put s lot on it but some did drip below the cap as it was screw on ..

My jar of the blue thicker glue had turned to jelly after a few months, so I picked up this "Regular" PVC cement. I don't typically need the features of the thicker blue Rain-R-Shine cement, and prefer this thinner more liquid version--less messy and easy to apply. I used it on a pool drain pipe with some of the purple primer, and the joints were rock solid in seconds. Easy to use and works great, good price.
