How do you remove the grille once the drain is tiled in place?
Asked by VG March 25, 2018To remove the grill can be a little challenging once the shower is finished. The grill is pressure fitted into the drain opening at at four places located in line with the corners. Ideally if you can get the edge of a putty knife under the edge of the grill keeping the putty knife as flat as possible, and lifting gently the grill will pop out. To avoid bending the grill I would recommend using a putty knife on opposite sides gently lifting with the same pressure.
What is the distance between the screw holes? I am wondering if it will work with my shower drain pipe.
