The description says low lead not lead free. That's why I wasn't sure. And yes they go near washer but there still in line with other pipes in the house
You thread the Quiet Pipes onto the OUTPUT of your washing machine valve and the washing machine HOSE threads on to the Quiet Pipes.
These thread on to brass threads. You would have to adapt somehow to CPVC.
