This product will not fit into a 2.5" opening in a preformed shower pan.
Will this work in a fiberglass manufactured home shower
This product can be used on any preformed shower bases with that takes a round drain cover with a 2" schedule 40 inlet pipe.
Will this work on 2 inch cast iron pipe
This will fit a standard 2" cast iron pipe. If it is a heavy cast iron pipe, the gasket will need to be replaced with a 42157 Rubber Caulking Gasket to fit 2" No-Hub Cast Iron Pipe.
Anxious to know from the professional, does Clorox bleach and Ajax can rust, stain or decay the brass when clean the pan , during long time period?
Bleach products can be corrosive to metals including brass. We would not recommend using harsh or abrasive chemicals with this drain.

That may depend on the shower base used and it's profile. The drain is 3.5" at the nut securing it to the base and tapers down from that point.
