No, there are no chains included. If you really need them (It does hang quite low as it is) you might try a hardware store like Ace or True Value.

The rack should hold it. It will depend on how well it is fastened to the ceiling

I have an angled ceiling... would this one work?

That would depend on the angle of the ceiling. A slight angle would be okay but if you're talking about a 45 degree angle, there could be problems.

OUR SON INSTALLED IT PRETTY QUICKLY. HE HAD NO PROBLEM WITH THE INSTRUCTIONS TO DO SO. WE LIKE EVERYTHING ABOUT IT. IT FREED UP MY CABINET SPACE FOR OTHER THINGS AND IT LOOKS AWESOME. I CAN FIND THE PAN I NEED RIGHT AWAY... NO DIGGING FOR IT. WE HAVE HAD IT FOR ABOUT 3 WEEKS. I AM GETTING A LOT OF COMPLEMENTS ON IT.

Much better quality than I expected for the price. Super heavy duty and heavy...probably have someone help you hold it while installing this rack. The only thing that I wasn't impressed with was the color when I first opened the box, but that is completely my fault...i ordered the wrong color on accident!

Purchased the oil bronze finish to match my hardware on my cabinets and the overall look of my kitchen. This was really easy to install. It is heavy but i did it myself and I'm 5'2", 133lbs. You will need a ladder, stud finder, drill, and I used a 3/16 bit to drill my holes in the ceiling/stud before screwing in the hooks. I also had to use pliers to help turn the hooks in, which I suppose I could have drilled bigger holes beforehand but didn't want to chance it. ***NOTE to inexperienced: MUST BE DRILLED INTO STUD. BUTTERFLY CLIPS INTO SHEETROCK IS NOT ACCEPTABLE.... Too heavy.*** I have a 9ft ceiling and as you can see in the picture did not need any extra chain for extension. I think any kitchen 11ft or higher you will need to purchase chain or some type of extension. Comes with plenty hooks. Overall, great value for your money. It is not cheap looking. It is much bigger in person than the Home Depot picture shows, but I guess paying attention to the dimensions before purchasing you would know that. Heavy, which helps with balance. The only Con I have is the instructions should tell you exactly what size drill bit should be used to screw holes into your stud.

Nice looking and meets expectations. Could use a decorative cap covering the point where the main ceiling hooks insert into your drywall for aesthetics. Additionally, the unit doesn’t fit together symmetrically when you tighten down all the bolts.
