The quality of the material is light but durable. I say light because I have porcelain set of canisters similar in size and they are super heavy to the point that I afraid to use them every day for fear of breaking. These you can tell will last with proper care. The color is pretty and as pictured. The only thing I didn’t like were the scratches on the handles. They were scratched and dull and I almost returned them. I decided to use them elsewhere as actual storage instead of actual accent pieces As I intended. I kept them since they were the second set I purchased (I was not happy with the first set). Only with buying on sale.
