Long lasting tea
Tea has changed. Down here in the south we like our tea in bags. Well the tea is extracted differently between bags and loose leaves. When I first read about this teapot I initially thought, ok, I can boil this on the stove? NO. That is not what this is for, it is strictly for holding your boiled water and extracting the tea from your loose leaves or even tea cut from the tea bags. You place it on a table, fill the included filter with your tea, place it into the teapot, and then fill with boiling water. Some loose leaves are different from others in terms of what temp to extract at. Me being from the south and not being so technical, I just boil the water and let it steep the tea. This is where the teapot does its job and does it really well. It's job is to make the tea and keep it hot. I like to chug my drinks like no tomorrow, but my wife likes to take her time with her drinks, this teapot is her best friend. The teapot keeps it hot long enough for her to enjoy it. She likes the filter and how easy it is to clean. I like the design of the teapot, how well it keeps the temperature, and how effective it is to make and use. Overall it is very neat and has become a morning favorite instantly. The cast iron along with the ceramic materials, I appreciate! I respect this product in the morning because it works without any issues, it works really well.

Cute looking
I did not notice at the beginning that the teapot is 11 oz, so I was expecting something bigger for 2 people at least. But it is one little cute teapot for 1 cup of tea. It has a metal filter in it. Color is a bit mix of dark red and black because it has a kind of texture on it. It became a nice decor for our kitchen (we intended to use it as decor)
