Old Mill Brick Single Thin Brick Flats are made from the highest quality genuine kiln fired clay brick. Single Thin Brick is designed for quick and easy do-it-yourself installation. Boston Mill has a blend of dark reds that will give you the authentic look, feel and charm of old colonial New England. The texture and color is an excellent look for any interior or exterior project. Simply apply adhesive to the back of each thin brick and apply to virtually any surface. A:  Thank you for your interest in Old Mill Brick! You can used our adhesive, Old Mill Brick Adhesive. You can use another brand of modified thin set adhesive too. Just ensure that on the container under "use for" it says quarry or stone, and that will work with our thin brick.

    A:  The best ones are the original Chicago bricks you cut yourself with a wet saw and a little practice. Some places sell the real bricks (not rubber or plastic) for as low as $1 each and got at least two veneers out of each brick, if not more. I returned the ones I bought from Home Depot, costing much, much more. I challenge the person who reads this to post it!

      A:  Thank you for your interest in Old Mill Brick! Boston Mill is a darker red color than some other red bricks we have. If you are interest in a straight edge brick, then we would recommend either Independence or Atlanta.

        Color looks nothing like the photos
        Going by the photos, I was expecting some variation of color among the pieces (some whiter than others, and a warm red). We ordered 7 boxes of the singles, and the color is all the same, odd sort of red that makes me think of the color "oxblood". I kind of wish I'd returned them, but it wasn't really necessary, since I'll be painting them anyway. Only thing is, this color doesn't leave room for the possibility of whitewashing or doing an irregular white finish -- I'll need to cover it all.

          Love these bricks, very easy to use..my only complaint is that of 4 boxes of Little Cottonwood, they all seem to be the same color…maybe I’m using the wrong side? I had to schmear with grout to make them look different

            Easy to install if you think ahead!!!!
            I was very apprehensive about purchasing this brick. I have never laid brick but figured I would give it a try. I really like the uniformity vs. the stacked stone/grout less look. If you purchase this brick, buy more than you think you will need, purchase more outside corners than you think are necessary and LAYOUT your pattern beforehand. I had a few cracked “flats” but I was able to use them as my end pieces or fillers. I would definitely purchase these bricks again.

              True color
              Received the Little Cottonwood Brick for a gas fireplace we are in the process of building. I absolutely love the color. Looking at the pictures online it was hard to tell the true color. I can say that seeing it in person it is perfect.

                Brick is Great
                Brick is great. We used the singles and used pl400 construction adhesive which saves you the mess. I will say grouting is tough, but it got easier as I went on.
