So do you only use the faucet that comes with this for drinking water and continue to use your regular kitchen faucet for dishes and such?
Asked by: dfickett04622
Yes. This system taps into the existing cold water line for the supply and has a discharge tube for the waste water that taps into the existing drain. The water that comes from the units faucet is clean drinking water that can be used for cooking and drinking. The water that comes from the regular kitchen faucet is used for washing dishes. Depending on what you are filtering from your tap water, you probably would not want to use the tap water from the regular kitchen faucet. For example, if your water has Arsenic in it, you would not want to use the un-filtered water for consumption.
