I’ve applied this stain/sealant to an outdoor game that was made from untreated pine. Is this sufficient to protect it?

Does it need any further sealant where it touches the ground?

It all depends if the area were the game is holds water, you will need extra protection. if the water run off and doesn't set. If the water set i would use heavy oil based paint or some of the rustoleum products just on the bottom if it will not disturb the looks of the game.

I used this to stain my new deck 3 years ago, and since it is in Alabama sun it has begun to fade and show some almost bare wood spots. If I put a new coat on now, do I have to strip the old stain off first, or can I re-coat a few times over the next few years before doing that?
