What is the difference between transparent and semi transparent in the woodland cedar finish?
Semi-Transparent will cover more of the natural wood grain with the color. We recommend spot testing in an inconspicuous area to see color sample.

We recommend spraying with a pump sprayer but it can be applied with a brush or roller as well.
We used a clear sealer on cedar fence can we use this product on top of sealer?
This product is for use on wood that has not been sealed, or where the sealer has weathered. If water dripped on the surface of the wood beads rather than absorbing into the wood, this product should not be used.
Will this stain work on top of acrylic paint that's been painted on wood.
No, this is intended to be used on bare wood. We do not have a recommended product for use as a clear topcoat.

The longevity of this sealer depends on environmental factors in your area etc. Typically this sealer lasts around 1-3 years before needing to be re-applied.
