    I purchased four place settings to supplement the old American Harmony I bought over 30 years ago. I was disappointed at the lack of quality. Ironically, "American Harmony" is now a product of China. The lack of "heft" particularly on the knife was very evident compared to our older flatware. This is another example of companies shipping their production overseas to make a buck. I'd prefer to pay more for American made American Harmony, but as is often the case, I don't have that option. Had I known that these were produced in China, I would have bought used items from ebay.

    This set was a fill in or replacement to our current 20 year old daily users. They are a little lighter in weight then the older made in the USA ones. Not any problem, mostly noticeable on the knifes. Overall great set always can use the extra ones since they disappear like socks in a dryer.
