          Answer This Question

A:  I kept mine 1.5 years and it never progressed from a stick with roots. Followed all of the directions to the letter. Newer will buy these again.

          by|Oct 2, 2022

A:  I have gone through this for 2 years and have returned several. What they told me is halfway down the stick Use your fingernail to scrape a little bark off. Maybe even a knife. Is it green? If it is not it is dead and it will never grow anything

              Not As Expected
This was supposed to be bareroot. It wasn't that, but not really in a pot either. The twin stems didn't look like a tree. When I removed it from the container much of the planting material fell away. That's when I saw that the original trunk had been cut off and buried, and the "tree" looked like 2 sucker shoots growing from the roots. I couldn't really tell what was the graft. I did plant it but am not hopeful it will become a healthy tree

                Over all good outcome
I've had pretty good luck with HomeDepots garden center. I think most plants I've bought have been proven winners; but, I've had more good luck than bad and in 2022 my peach tree even produced 14 peaches.

                  Peach Tree
Tree arrived healthy. Roots look great. This is the second peach tree I purchase from The Home Depot. I was very pleased with the previous tree. I can't wait for the tree to start producing fruit. Hightly remond buying trees from The Home Depot.

Wrong time of year I think, to hot.
Been in ground from one day after I got it. Good soil water deep 3-5 days, no new growth.

Step away and plant from seeds
I followed the instruction and planted it, its been almost 6month, there is only a tiny leaf coming from the root, and it doesnt last. The branch is completely dead. I also planted some peach from seeds, they are growing much better.

                      A Branch Peach
I ordered and received a lifeless “tree” about 4 feet tall. Well, it doesn’t look like a tree, it is just a branch. After months planting in special soil, my “tree” is alive but doesn’t grow. Compare to my other same size plants that I bought in stores, this “tree” will need 3-5 years to catch up. I wouldn’t buy it here if I can find the same tree around.
