A sport of Hosta 'Francee' with the same clumping form and sporty, dark green leaves but with wider, irregular margins. Tall, lavender flower spikes bloom in mid-summer about the bold foliage. The 18 in. tall x 24 in. wide plant is long-lived, reliable and easy to grow. For best foliage color, grow in moist, well drained, organically rich soil in partial to full shade; preferably with morning sun. The dramatic foliage fit's into the landscape well and can be used as a specimen by itself, to provide contrast within a group of other hosta, as a foundation plant, in the bed, or as an edging, or as an understory plant beneath large trees.

Lovely plant. Very green, no damage to leaves or plant. Packing was excellent. Reported in garden. Was enough to make 4 new plants. Trans planted well. Already new growth. Very, very satisfied.
