Helpful, well-designed tool for composters
This well-built tool needs no assembly. It makes turns compost easy and something that even children will be able to do without much help. With this tool, you will no longer dread trying to use a shovel to turn your compost; the turner makes it fun and easy. Great buy!

I received the tool last week and tried it out. Total trash. The 1” wide paddles do not lift enough. To accomplish the job in a reasonable time it would take at least 30 minutes.

After reading some of the reviews, I was a bit apprehensive but decided to give it a try. I'm very glad I did. It is doing the job that nothing else seemed to be able to do. Previously, couldn't get the compost to mix and now it looks like that won't be a problem.

buy a pitch fork
this thing works about as well as a stick. do yourself a favor, save $7 or $8 and buy a short pitchfork

I love this little tool. I would have given it...
I love this little tool. I would have given it 5 stars if the wings which are supposed to fold to push into the compost and open out to aerate would always open out. Unfortunately, they get stuck in the folded position and then I'm just poking holes.

The concept of the compost turner is good, but I found it not very effective. Even with force I can not push it down very far into my compost pile, and the folding teeth get clogged with dirt that I have to frequently clean.
