A:  Correction: the slip end only works for schedule 40 or thin wall and not schedule 80.

    A:  Will work for both. Schedule 40 has thinner wall. Schedule 80 has thicker wall. Will work for both Schedule 40 and 80.

        Not true to size
        I bought two of these (1/2" slip x 3/4" MHT) and two (1/2" slip by 3/4" FHT). Both are made by Orbit. The FHT pieces will fit into a 3/4" tee. The MHT pieces will not. I tried every configuration at Home Depot and it won't fit. I realized the MHT pieces are just a little bit bigger than the FHT pieces. I went home and put calipers on it and the MHT pieces are 0.05" bigger than the FHT pieces. I could be totally wrong but it seems like a quality control problem.
