It is ideal for use in residential and commercial landscapes, and handles the most intricately designed, high maintenance areas with ease. The Center Strip Pattern Brass Nozzle provides unmatched coverage to eliminate brown spots and keep lawn green and healthy. There are 2 seals on the cap, a radial seal and a face seal. There are 2 more seals on the riser making leaks a thing of the past.

Q:Can you reduce the 1/2 spray radius to 3 to 4 feet for curbside grass?

A:  The spray radius on our Pop-up sprinklers is reliant on your home's water pressure. Although it can be extended or reduced slightly by loosening or tightening the screw in the top of the sprinkler head.

    Q:Is there a special tool to adjust the top screw for distance? Everytime I've tried with a screwdriver, the screw doesn't move at all and the brass chunks off essentially stripping the screw

    A:  No, there is no special tool that is needed but sometimes the screw may seize due to mineral build up. Letting it soak in some vinegar may help with loosening it to adjust. Although even when you adjust using the screw, you will at most only get a couple of extra feet of spray.

          A great sprinkler head with a nice brass spray nozzle that has twin spray orifices that allow the sprinkler to water from very close to the head to 10 to 15 foot radius (which gives better coverage on lawn. It has double "O" rings at the top & also at the riser below to keep head from leaking. The 2" inch pop-up is great for those irrigation lines that are buried somewhat shallow. It has an internal pressure regulator factory set at 30 psi & can be raised to 40 psi.

          While this was labeled a professional item, it doesn't fit my definition any where near professional or dependable. This head has an adjustment screw but the adjustment had no effect on the amount of water being fully open. I have a sprinkler system for the house and am very familiar with adjustments on many types of heads that popup and don't and this one upon removing the head appears to be missing a key part under the adjustment screw to slow down or stop the water. I am being generous in giving this unit an average rating due to the fact everything else works but the adjustment for the water flow. If I had bought this for my lawn and needed the adjustment, I would be returning this unit for a refund or replacement with a trip that shouldn't be needed.

          This sprinkler head works well. Covers a large area And is adjustable too. I have two separate orbit systems in my yard. I’ve had to replace a couple of heads in the last year cause I didn’t have them positioned properly and dinged a couple with my mower. Swapping out orbit sprinkler heads is fast and east. Best investment for my lawn was a sprinkler system by orbit.
