I bought 2 approximately 2 years ago to keep ALL of our dogs out of my flower beds and off front porch. Let's start with the perks. First, they are very powerful and detect motion easily if batteries remain fresh. The clicking sound is also startling to the approaching target. Next, these can be used as automatic sprinklers with 30 minutes run time. Now for the cons. They are HUGE and must be connected in 3-4 different joints, which have to be checked for leaks frequently due to loosening of the threaded parts. They have a duration and range setting that can be increased or decreased. But, even on minimal setting, the projection of water's height is way above ground level missing the mark that activated the motion sensor (ie, shoots WAY over our dogs' heads). Unless there have been any modifications, the directions for assembly and usage are lackluster, and I had to search YouTube for videos to learn some of the features. Unfortunately, there are so many unidentified small detachable fittings, that one of ours is no longer able to oscillate. I think it could be an easy fix if a diagram of parts was/is available and the capability of replacing the ones needed.
In summary, they are a great safe deterrent for pets and pests. However, I don't think the price is suitable due to lack of instructions and information on how to repair.
Additionally, when previewing my review, there was a message under my images stating that they were submitted as "part of a sweepstakes". I have no knowledge of what this means, and my review is not influenced by any type of promo.

Very happy with the product. Several neighborhood cats were using our yard for their toilet and hunting grounds for geckos and after some research decided to take a chance on a technology solution. So far has worked great. It detected and deterred the cats from the first time we switched it on. Funny watching the cats trying to figure out what the heck this thing was that was spraying water at them. Still early, about 3 weeks since the Yard Enforcer has been on guard duty but seems as if the cats have been conditioned to go elsewhere.
Side benefit: Had an uninvited solicitor come up the driveway the other day who got a pretty big surprise. I have spray range on minimum so he didn't get directly sprayed.
Negatives: Couldn't set the detection range short enough where it wouldn't activate for cars driving by and people walking by on the sidewalk. I moved it to a different location and aimed it where it was pointed to the side which solved that problem. Wind, for some reason, also seems to activate false detections frequently to the point we'll need to switch off the unit on particularly windy days.
Other than that, have been pleased by the performance so far.

Needed a solution to keep our dog from digging along the side of the house to lay in the cool dirt . I repaired the area once by adding topsoil and reseeding but she went out and ruined the area again. Thought I'd try a humane deterrent rather than any type of shock collar or punishment. Hooked the sprayer up and within minutes she got a water blast and took off. Just recently repaired the area again but our dog won't go near that area now that she knows she'll get sprayed. Coming along nicely with new grass popping up and looking like new again. It's been about a month since we bought it and we're very pleased.

Price has nearly doubled in last few years.
I would have given 5 stars, but my 3 sprinklers finally bit the dust after 3 years. They do work great, but now for the price, the value isn't there...hence the 2 stars.
I purchased my 3 Orbit Yard enforcers for $39 each online, now they are over $60.
Sorry, I get inflation, but not this kind. I won't purchase these out of principle...3 sprinklers for just under $200 after tax? No chance.
