This pole saw is about four times quieter than a gas saw when in use, and silent between cuts. Part of Oregon’s 40V Max Cordless Tool System, a line of powerful, emissions-free tools. Can this pole saw use a Dewalt battery?

AnswersNo. The batteries that come with the PS250 are specific to our 40 volt tools.

Does not cut
The pole saw runs good but it does not cut smaller size trees. That equipment is junk . Any pole saw is junk and doesn't cut like chain saws. It's better to buy chain saws.

The pole saw is my 4th Oregon 40-volt tool (chain saw, leaf blower, and string trimmer). Very pleased with the operation and usefulness of all. Company has been very responsive to any issues or concerns.
One note of caution - the pole saw is heavier than I expected. Yes, weight was in specs, but until you get it fully extended it's hard to grasp how it will feel. Over the shoulder strap very helpful, but takes some adjustment and experimentation. Be forewarned.
