Nutsedge Killer 32 oz. For Lawns Ready-To-Spray is rated 4.4 out of 5 by 98.
Rated 5 out of 5 by from Just what the heck is Nutsedge Green is green. We live under a canopy of trees so my philosophy was its ok if it comes up green unless its poison oak. Well, I've changed my mind. I have made steady progress and when I see how nice a real lawn looks especially in the spring when all these fine young grasses are so fluffy and green I want to defend my work by eliminating invaders. Unfortunately, I once welcomed most of the green invasive species that now have squatters rights, and I didn't know what all of these things are named. I don't want to cover my property with an indiscriminate weed waster. We drink the water that seeps past the roots. I learned this tallish pointy thing that gets spikes on its tips is nutsedge. I've tried pulling it up: Nutsedge doesn't care. It leaves little nutlike nodules that don't take long to send up more. I got my hands on a bottle of Ortho Nutsedge killer and as of today, I can say it is easy to use; premixed, so I am immediately Jesse James, trigger happy and dangerous; and Nutsedge is easy to spot. I have faith that it will do its magic and put an end to Nutsedge, because its Ortho. [This review was collected as part of a promotion.]

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Ortho Nutsedge Killer works great I have had a huge Nutsedge problem in my yard for years - my lawn always looks great in the spring but as soon as the St. Louis heat starts up so did the Nutsedge. Over the years I have tried everything and nothing seemed to work until I found Ortho Nutsedge Killer. This product worked perfectly on my lawn and did not kill the regular grass - (I have a mixture of Tall Fescue / Bluegrass / Zoysia). I have a very large yard and it took a few bottles to get the Nutsedge under control and then a few spot applications as some new areas started to spring up but my yard has never been this free of Nutsedge in over 20 years that I have lived here. I always spray the Nutsedge a few days after I mow, because it is easy to see as it grows so much faster than the regular grass. I then can see it turn brown and die and by the next time I mow it doesn't come back. Hopefully I won't have any new Nutsedge next year but if I do, I know how to get rid of it now. Thank You Ortho for making a product that really works.

Rated 1 out of 5 by from Product Has Been Good; 2019 Packaging Junk! With hose screwed in firmly to the sprayer, it still leaked like mad. Since this is toxic, that is no good! I managed the task as best I could, shut off water, released water pressure through spray end, and went in and washed all my clothes and my skin, which should not have been necessary. When I went back out to disconnect spray bottle from hose, the first thing that happened was the washer in the connecting part fell out to the ground. A big clue to the junky packaging, the cause of the leak, and the possible uselessness of the rest of the product. Very disappointing. Also, the spray pattern was wider and more ragged than I remember from using this in the past. That wasn't an improvement either.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Took care of a chronic problem A few years ago my neighbor delivered soil from his family farm that we used to build up our lawn and garden beds. As it turned out the soil was infested with Nutsedge, Dollarweed, Wild Violets, and other weeds. We have been dealing with eradicating the weeds using a general purpose weed killer and were mostly successful except for the persistence of Nutsedge and Dollarweed. We used the Ortho Nutsedge product and for the most part, the weeds are gone. While we still have an occasional reemergence, the Nutsedge product quickly deals with it. The product works great and we are pleased with its performance. [This review was collected as part of a promotion.]

Rated 4 out of 5 by from Easy to Use I used the Ortho Nutsedge Killer for Lawns Ready-To-Spray on a portion of my side & backyard where there is poor drainage areas. I have a lot of this triangular taller grass that I believe is the nutsedge. Hooking the hose up and spraying the product was easy. I did have a pop up shower but I'm pretty sure it was after the four hours allowed to apply before rain. Ten days later I noticed some browning of this weed so I may apply the spray again as I do not think one application was enough to kill it. [This review was collected as part of a promotion.]

Rated 4 out of 5 by from Seeing results I wasn't exactly sure what nutsedge was, but with a woods surrounding my property I was sure this weed would be among all the rest. The idea of attaching it to the garden hose is a good one, but after spraying for quite awhile I'm never sure if what is left in the bottle is still the product or plain water. It would be helpful if there was a window on the bottle with colored product so it would be easy to tell what is left. [This review was collected as part of a promotion.]

Rated 5 out of 5 by from So far it seems to be working great!!! I applied this to an area of my yard that some how manages to find every possible weed which manages to thrive! I'm always searching to figure out what the leaves look like to match it to the weed and find a way to win the battle - this easy to use spray bottle was easy to use and applied right where I needed it to be! So far it seems to be working on the weeds - keeping my fingers crossed they are gone forever! [This review was collected as part of a promotion.]
