Feed indoor and outdoor potted plants for up to a full 6 months with Osmocote Smart-Release Plant Food Plus Outdoor & Indoor. This is our best formula, and it is fortified with 11 essential nutrients. It works with virtually all plant varieties, in all growing conditions. Plus, we offer our no-burn pledge when you use Osmocote as directed.
  • OSMOCOTE QUALITY: Osmocote is the original slow-release plant food. Decades of rigorous field testing confirm product effectiveness with hundreds of plant species in a variety of climate and soil conditions.
  • OSMOCOTE'S BEST FORMULA: Each homogeneous granule contains 15-9-12 NPK plus micro and secondary nutrients and feeds up to 6 full months.
  • OSMOCOTE'S SECRET: Soil temperature controls how Osmocote releases its nutrients, and more importantly how nutrients are taken up by the plant. Replenishment and feeding are in natural harmony.

    A:  Osmocote Smart-Release Plant Food Plus Outdoor and Indoor can be used around all ornamentals. King Protea Pink ice plant thrive in inferior soils and may not need fertilized. If needed use a fertilizer with almost no phosphorus and low potassium.

        A:  Honestly I don’t know. I use it to fertilize iris when I thin out and transplant them. Also in the fall, I use it to fertilize the iris plants that I dont transplant. This product works very well and made the difference between success and failure with getting my iris to grow. Apparently its the bone meal in the product that is the magic.

                A:  Yes it can. I use it on all of my potted plants and bonsai. This is recommended to me by a horticulturist and bonsai master. For using in ground you will want to mix into the top soil. However, for azaleas and other plants with feeder roots that stay close to the top soil. Only sprinkle on top of the soil. Note that the fertilizer will only release at 70 degrees F and above. It’s slow release makes it harder to burn the roots.
