We used this doormat at our patio door and it was a little small but does what it needs to do keeping our feet clean to enter the house. the mat we had before was thicker and worked well with work boots or muddy shoes but not with flops, sandals or bare feet. We live in Louisiana and we usually wear sandals or flops so this is perfect for our needs. The color was as we expected and works with the colors in the area. The PVC backing makes it easy to clean and helps keep it anchored we have had several very windy days and it didn't blow away.

The mat is of very high quality. The backing keeps it from slipping and the grooves the mat is made of really holds debris while wiping your feet from the outside. I find it to be too small for interior use unless it is a very small entry way, but I used it from my deck on to my kitchen and it fits just fine. That way the dog may not actually track some mud into the kitchen!
