Is this price correct for a 12 roll pallet @ $403.20? Priced individually 12 rolls would be $234.96.

R19 Kraft Faced Insulation 15" x 39'2" - 12 roll pallet.
Asked by: Bart
Bart, That seems as if a pallet may be talking in terms of 18-24 rolls.

What is the difference in faced or Kraft faced insulation?

Asked by: BJ
Faced means it has a vapor barrier on one side. Kraft is the the type of facing. Kraft is paper. Foil is not paper.

I have a celling its 2x4 R 19 to be use for it

Asked by: Ricardo
Insulation should not be compacted to yield its' greatest benefit. Normally with a 2 x 4 wall, R-13 insulation is used. If the ceiling is open to the attic above the 2 x 4's that the insulation would not be compressed, you could use R-19 or higher.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from VERY EASY TO INSTALL The rolled package was easy to get home, easy to cut to fit openings, and easy to install. Used this opportunity to teach more home maintenance and care to our grandson and grandnephew. All enjoyed the project of adding more insulation to our home primarily because the roll was very simple to apply. The standard width is the width of the application area. Only length measures needed cutting. Super simple job that any physical able layperson can handle.

Insulated the floor on a 35 year old house, also put plastic on ground, could tell the difference almost immediately. We have always used Owens Corning insulation, never had any problems.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Great Product Easy to work with even for 2" x 4" walls! I wanted the higher R-value but it is actually intended for 2" x 6" ceilings.

It fluffs out to be an evenly dense fiberglass matt after you unroll it. Necessary cutting such as around a light switch is easy to do with a scissors. The only negative I've encountered while using over 10 rolls so far is that they use a wide band of paper tape to keep the roll compressed until you cut it. The problem this causes is that the six feet or so that has this tape sometimes has the roll paper compressed in wrinkles under it and you can't stretch the roll paper to its original full length because the paper tape can't be removed without damaging the paper facing. Only maybe two or three inches length is lost to this though. The tape is visible in the end wall of my photo.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Corning interior attic insulation The old insulation was falling away from the wall in the attic that borders my vaulted ceiling living room. The sales person helped me pick out the right insulation for me and loaded it onto the cart. The cashier was kind enough to call someone to help me load it into the car. Am expecting it to lower my air conditioning bill once installed. I'm waiting for a cooler day to climb up there and do it myself.

Rated 4 out of 5 by from Wall insulation Originally was going to purchase enough to do one wall. Then seen the price savings to buy in bulk for the whole area. Was pleased to receive a discount for our order. Product was easily installed and exactly what we were looking for.

Rated 3 out of 5 by from Met my needs I prefer to work with Certainteed insulation (yellow). It is easier to work with, separates less, and has less odor than this product for the same R-value. This met my needs.
